left the Montreal Knits group early last night to work on my portfolio.
Was super great to see the knitgroup last night.
Unfortunately there are no photos of my brief knitting friends,
my camera needed its batteries charged up.

i have a meeting at the
Musée des arts contemporain, downtown.
Actually, centre-ville to be exact. (!).
wish me luck. either way, i am really pleased to be having the meeting.
right now it's time to get things ready before i take my show on the road.
so to speak.


and in knitting news,
the lovely buttery brown socks of
hand dyed wool are complete. and ready to become a Christmas gift.
i had only a few inches left of the skein at the end of this pair of socks !
that was a little too close for comfort.

Excitement on the Home front ...

i thought this morning, that
someone nearby was having repair
work done on something - it sounded like metal drilling metal.
i couldn't tell exactly where the noise was coming from.

it took many hours before i could tell what that horrible shrill noise was.

turns out its my FURNACE.

have since turned the heat off.
and it's Snowing outside.
(that's to give you the clear
idea it's not balmy and warm here now that November has moved in.)
i have managed to find out how to get the furnace turned off.
the noise was deafening & horrible.
and it's Snowing, have i mentioned ?

the gas company will be coming in the next 12 hours to fix me up.
or rather, fix my furnace.

at least now that the furnace is off,
the ear piercing, mind numbing noise has stopped.
i was seriously worried i'd loose my mind.

it's superwash merino. You've got to love that.
