Before lunch on friday

let the games begin !
this is the Knitting Companion and his allwhite brother.
as usual, you can click on the photo to see a larger version.
They both love it when you talk to them.
or even better: sing to them.

friday morning

The Knitting Companion has found
some new wool that he's quite fond of.
Photos to follow soon.

In the meantime, he's quite mellow this morning.
His white brother will
be arriving shortly. A good day for dogs.

some days are like that

Today's fashion statement was unintentional.
There is poor lighting at my front door. (aka. No Lighting).
I was distracted.

I went downtown wearing two totally different
boots. One was black with white top stitching.
the other: brown. No resemblance to the first
boot.

Yes, people noticed.
And yes, they laughed.

Wednesday

The painting, below,
of the squares is by Paul Klee.

the hotlink shows the Gallery who has the
painting, but does not reflect the painter's name.
sorry for any confusion.

And, did you read Margaret's comment in the entry for
earlier today about Cezanne ?
i would love to hear what others think.

blogger does not seem
to be in the mood for
any photo uploading this morning,
so no more photos for today.

two great quotes

Two great quotes,
both by people named Paul ....

"If I think, I am lost." (Paul Cezanne)

"Everything vanishes round me and good works arise of their own accord." (
Paul Klee)

Pisces Horoscope for week of March 2, 2006

Pisces (February 19-March 20)
Of all the arguments made in
favour of getting regular exercise,
I rarely hear the one that's most
important to me: Do it because it strengthens
and tones the power of your will.
When you get used to rousing yourself out
of your physical inertia, the habit carries
over into the mental and spiritual sphere.
You find it easier to force yourself out of
your comfort zones and push toward the
next frontier. You're less likely to procrastinate
and accept mediocrity, and you actually enjoy
challenging yourself with worthy goals that
require strenuous effort.
It's now the will-building season
for you, Pisces. You know what to do.

monday Morning in Canada

there are probably a lot of tired people
this morning, because they watched the Oscars last night.

78th Poster

the Knitting Companion
was a bit too tired
last night to watch the awards.
He'd had a rousing day with his brother on
Sunday. They ran like crazy puppies in the snow.
I had to wake him up at 10 p.m. to feed him
because he was too tired to get up
at his regular dinner time.

The evidence

Above, is the
Knitting Companion's white brother.
Yes, they're
full brothers from the same litter.
They had a lot of fun running
and jumping over the weekend.

Now they're sleeping it off.
