to be exact, i'm at an Apple store, on michigan avenue in Chicago.
I have been attending a conference this week. No computer with me,
and surprisingly, my cellphone won't work here. Arrgh. Wow - do
i ever miss being in touch wirelessly.

Lots Of Mud

Besides snoozing, napping
and sleeping, the
Knitting Companion
and Brother Of Companion,
have had a weekend
filled with many
activities. Enjoyable things, such
as car rides and walking in the rain.
Walking in the deluge.
Walking in torrential rain.
And, wiping of Muddy Feet.
The foot-wiping was not high
on their "fun" list.

The Companions are not fond of rain.
However, from time to time it becomes
us to stroll in unpleasant weather.
Apparently, things smell
very good when it is raining.

The weekend was also filled
with Laundry. We used a lot
of towels, wiping all those little
muddy, fuzzy feet.
This hasn't been an ideal
photo-op weekend.

Sadly, the blog is not in the mood
to accept photos today.

The companions will stay together
for the rest of the weekend.
You can be sure that they will be
very tired by Sunday.

I will not be posting later this
week as I'll be away from the computer.

Happy trails.

This is a great quote ....

There are only
two ways to live your life.

One is as though nothing is a miracle.
The other is as though
everything is a miracle.

Holiday Monday

Today is a holiday in Canada. hooray.

While it has been
raining all weekend, (day eleven now),
there has been some knitting and other activity...

The Knitting Companion's
brother is here for a six day visit.
This is what his Brother likes to
do when it's raining outside....

it's still raining,

Day ten and we still have rain.
the light at the end of the tunnel today ?
i hope so - we've had moments of "non rain"
and the sun actually shone early this morning.
if you slept until 8am, you missed it.
The Grass and everything green is growing
like crazy. The tulips in the garden look like
giraffes taking a drink. their flower heads
are closed and drooping down. almost
to the ground now, as my tulips haven't
been able to open for more than a week.

argh.

fingers crossed for good weather. Sooner.
Not later.

for everyone, from Georgia

Weekly Horoscope: Sunday May 21, 2006

All Signs: (Eastern Time Zone)

About every four weeks the Sun changes signs.
(This happens 12 times a year.)
This creates a global game of musical
chairs because everyone's focus shifts as
the Sun moves from one sign to another.
If you're born at the beginning of your sign,
you'll feel this influence right away.
Otherwise, it might not kick in for
two weeks, but it will occur.
Sometimes other planets overshadow
this influence; and it can also be
obscured by whatever is happening
in the chart based on your Rising Sign.
This is a down and dirty Astrology 101 lesson.
" Yes Grasshopper, when you can take
the fly from my hand you are ready."
