Great words from Neruda

"I don't know
who it is who lives or dies,
who rests or wakes,
but it is your heart
that distributes all the graces
of the daybreak in my breast."

–Pablo Neruda

Wonderful words from Henry

Today is
my birthday and time to share

something lovely:

"For age is opportunity no less
Than youth itself, though in another dress,
And as the evening twilight fades away
The sky is filled with stars, invisible by day."

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Vision

"Dream lofty dreams,
and as you dream, so shall you
become. Your vision is the promise
of what you shall one day be;
your ideal is the prophecy of what you shall unveil."

James Allen

some Italian views ....

some views to share with you.
these were taken in the lovely
city of Lucca.

Welcome to Lucca

Lucca is not far at all from Florence.
About an hour away.
You might not have
heard of it, but it's a marvellous
walled city.
Lovely, warm & welcoming.
And delicious.

Italian Graffiti

before i put in the "real" photos
of my visit to Italy,
i share with you these Italian Graffiti
photos.
This made me laugh.

Six hour time difference

for some people,
it takes a few days
to get back to their "normal" time zone
after being away.
I was wide awake at 4 am.
am feeling a little rough now.

Ouch.
