well, most likely you already do.
but in case you haven't seen it, he's just
come to San Francisco.

Now, he was here for a little vacation, and took some
lovely photos and visited some great yarn (and more)
shops.

Since i have not taken any marvellous
city photos (yet, yet, yet)
nor have i made a visit to Any yarn shops
since my arrival in the city,

otherwise absorbed lately, and not
up to date on the goings and comings of everyone Else.

Red tape day

today, i did some of the "government Office" visits
that you need to get through when you move to a new
country.


My credit rating doesn't follow
me to my new country ....

Apparently, my driver's licence doesn't either.
To apply for a local (California)
driver's licence, i have to take a written
test and then a driving test !
For some reason, my driver's licence from
Canada just doesn't suit them here.
Tut, tut.

Today i want to share the Keebler Elf truck (above).
Keebler crackers and biscuits are said to be made
by Elves. No relation to Santa as far as I know.

the message on this truck made me laugh right
out loud.



Later, I saw this road sign for a Secret Town Road.
Well, if it's a Secret town,
why is there a sign ?
come to think of it - we didn't see a sign
for the actual Town.....

This weekend was the proof.
My very cute leather jacket is
not enough to be warm on brisk,
windy san francisco days. Or nights, either.

It's time to go shopping.
I really need a coat.
