Hapy new year from the West coast

Some Before New Year
photos from Chrissy Fields (very nice park).
Knitting Companion and i are very fond
of this lovely park.
Have a look at the white crane in the second
photo. Quite an elegant creature.

i've been a bit under the weather

and under the blankets.
the Knitting Companion has
been doing a stellar job of keeping me
company.

Questions: i have the answer

Oh my.
Several people have written to
ask about the Knitting Companion's
Christmas Stocking.

Alas, the fuzzy boy did not have an
Actual Christmas stocking this year.
However, he has not been hard done by.
He has received a series of Christmas
gifts and goodies.
A different something or other every day

over the past week.
and some nice biscuits.

And he has visited a lovely park by the bay,
complete with sitings of herons, cranes,
ducks and Humming birds.

Thank you to everyone for your good
wishes.

Happy New year.

This is the train

station that's right outside my bedroom window.
It looks so harmless and meek here in this photo.
i can assure you that this is a very
busy station despite the impression
this photo is giving you.

Through the night, every night,
there are many colourful characters in

the neighbourhood. The train stop is a busy place.

Below, the view from my other window.
(Toto, we're not in Kansas any more).

And - update of the Amarylis... photo taken just
before it's Neighbour blossom opened up.
