this morning, there is a fresh
bundle of spinach, awaiting
it's next-step preparation for
tonight's dinner.

There is a fresh batch of
Gougere awaiting "cocktail hour"
for new year's eve.
these tiny little pastries are
made with lots of cheese.
baked in the oven, they puff up
into such cute
and Tasty creations.



and a lovely match box ...
this was part of my Christmas/advent
package. Such handy matches.
now i can stop burning
my fingers when i light the candles.




and the wine glasses
from last night's dinner
get-together all are clean
and shiny and ready for the
next occasion.

We had a lovely time with
the family over Christmas.
The time seems to have flown by.

Tonight, some special
friends are coming by
to share supper with us.
There will be more of the Puff Buns.
or popovers, as some people know them.

Even the Knitting Companion thinks
that these puffy buns smell
absolutely delicious.

How did it all slip by so quickly?
