nature satisfies

There is a lovely
tree in the garden below our home.
In english, its name
is "Saskatoon Berry"
Last October, it gave this
marvellous show of crimson red.
In the springtime, it makes wonderful
delicious berries.
I'm looking forward to the tree's
Autumn-show.

knit, knit, knit

The Knitting Companion and
i have been very knitty-busy
this year working on a Large (for us)
project.
I've finally reached project completion.
and now i feel a bit sad that it's over
and yet happy all at the same time.
Time that the Project goes to its new home.

I have more photos to find.
and then i'll share. . .
it started out looking like this:

That's one big box of wool.

Pretty soon,
the Saskatoon Tree
will be this gorgeous shade of crimson.
it has just started to turn from green.
I love this tree. It always has something
to show.

a portable breeze

this little fan has proven
to be quite handy.

Sitting at well-lit "events"
can become stuffy and hot.

Nothing like harsh,
bright lights
to warm everyone up.
It's also a wonderfully portable
device to keep your seat-mate from
fainting from the hot lights.

Crimp Cut Prince

i love this slim tin.
While not in mint
condition, i love that
a tin of tobacco is named after
a Real Prince.
