I ordered a blanket - from Restoration Hardware.

everyone had a wonderful time opening the parcel.
And, in case you've wondered, this is the
lovely texture of the blanket /quilt. Mmmmm.

i'm waiting for the UPS man
to bring a parcel today.
The Knitting Companion
and i will do some knitting.
I'm going to knit a sock with my
new skein of
Sincere Sheep yarn.

It's a lovely skein of hand dyed, silk and
superwash wool.
My plan is to knit this into a long, cozy cowl.

my new cup on the busy table

i love this cup.
Great for holding tea.
It keeps the tea hot for a long time.
that's a handy feature. However, it
stains so easily and it's not easy to keep
white & shiny.

some socks and two cowls.
The Blanket is an ongoing project that i hope to finish
This Year. Yes, that's a big timeline, but
it's been so long in the making, i'll be happy to
start a new blanket.
